About Me

Many customers like to know a little about the people behind the products they buy.  Here I will tell you a little bit about myself and why I do this.

My Business Philosophy

The objective of The Mollycoddle Boutique is to provide high-quality, affordable boutique items and reliable service to my customers.  After having three princesses of my own, I fell in love with tutus and the many ways and fashions in which I saw them used.  However, I didn't always like the price tags I found on them in boutiques.  I started making my own, and I wanted to be able to share them and other boutique items with others.  I hope you will enjoy visiting my website as this progresses, as well as using my products as much as I enjoy providing them for you!

Cheli Hardin

I am the creator of The Mollycoddle Boutique, the designer and administrator of this website, the maker of the products, a mother of three daughters, a wife of one husband (whew), a daughter, a sister, a friend, a reality TV addict, a music fan, a shopoholic (even if it's through the window), and the dreamer of the laundry list of things I've always wanted to accomplish.  :)

I've worked in education for many years and am now a stay-at-home mom of Halle, 4, Jenna, 2, and Reese, 1.  Since right now I can't write a book, run for office, go to law school, audition for American Idol (too old), model, open my own photography studio, become an architect or interior designer, or travel the world with an unlimited budget, I decided to start this little baby.  :)  lol.

I've always loved fashion and clothes, and recently my hobby has become babies (haha), so now I especially love babies IN fashionable clothes!  ;)  So, what better way to combine my interests (and give myself a distraction from time to time) than to design and make tutus and other items for baby girls?  Down the road, I would also like to become a photographer and have a studio, but time is a precious commodity to me right now.  I can make tutus while my babies sleep, but I don't see too many people interested in being photographed at 11 o'clock at night.  Unless they had fashionable tutu pajamas?!  Hmmmm . . . j/k.  ;)
