So, you have the freedom to create any kind of look that you want.  How do you decide?  Here are some ideas to help inspire your very own custom-made tutu.  Don't follow trends; be the trend!

1.  Daddy's (or mommy's) favorite sports team colors.  EVERYONE has those pre-made cheerleader outfits; make her stand out in the crowd!

2.  Birthstone color.  Nothing's cuter at a birthday party!  Make it clear who the little lady of the hour is . . . or consider a tutu-themed birthday party!  You can create and order tutus to be used as party favors!

3.  Use those onesies.  Do you have an ADORABLE onesie that's begging for a higher status in the world?  ;)  Choose some coordinating colors, add a cardigan, and turn that onesie into a show-stopping outfit!

4.  The princesses!  Create a tutu inspired by her favorite princess.  Or any other character!  Abby Cadabby, Blue's Clues . . . anything is fair game with tutus.

5.  Other favorites.  How about a tutu inspired by her favorite candy?  Her favorite insect?  Her favorite blanket?  Her favorite color?  Her favorite game?  (I know *I* would like a "Twister" tutu!  :)  Hee hee.)  What is she really into?  Make the tutu personal.

6.  Holidays/seasons.  Coordinate with an upcoming holiday or the season!

7.  Special events.  Attending or participating in a wedding?  Need a flowergirl dress?  Have a dance recital?  Tea party?

8.  Costumes.  If you feel like screaming if you see one more kid stuffed in an Elmo suit, tutus are perfect for original Halloween costumes or even everyday dress-up time!

9.  Fashion.  Create something she can wear as a trendy outfit for any day of the week!  Pair with jeans for an edgy look or coordinate for use under one of her skirts for that 'puffy skirt' look.

10.  Color families.  Try a tutu with a combination of different shades of pinks . . . or purples . . . or greens . . . or blues . . . or . . .

11.  Special effects.  Would you like to add a special effect to your tutu?  For an additional $1, you can turn any tutu into a knotted tutu or a fairy-style tutu.  Knotted tutus are knotted on the ends, and fairy-style tutus are cut to a point.
